No dammit

I've been saying that this will come back to haunt them ever since that scene where we find out he's not dead

since Vince doesn't do crazy shite like that unless it is for a reason

that's what

TED IS NOT frickING DEAD

means

I've jokingly put it in just about every thread, so that's why I brought it back up. Surely Hank is going to look into this now, or this is a precursor to Ted showing back up....I've milked this so long, so long ...

He was telling the story because they were hauling the methlymene (sp) back in their pickup. They have millions worth in that tank.

Are the old episodes available on Hulu or something? I watched last night and it looks like a well written well acted show but the camera work on some scenes appears to be "low budget"...maybe that is intentional.

anyway, what is the best venue to catch up on the old shows?

One thing to keep in mind when thinking about Jesse figuring out the cigarette switch is that it happened probably fairly recently.

While many of us have watched this show over a few years, all of the events in this show have happened over just a year. The cig switch probably happened a couple of months ago. So it makes sense that Jesse could put this together.

wow. watched it this morning b/c my battery backup died and the DVR missed the early episode.

is anyone still confused about jesse & the cigarettes?

its very simple..he bought the story once before from walt about brock even though he was 99% sure walt did it.

now that he KNOWS huel switched the pot for cigs, he went back to that other scenario in his head and how he had searched everywhere for the ricin cigarette only for it to be 'magically' found..when guess what..? walt appeared at his house.

since then he's heard walt whistle after the murder of an innocent kid on a dirt bike, lie about mike, attempt further manipulation with the 'get out of town'..and this was the straw that broke his back.

when saul confessed and said 'i didnt know what walt was going to do' he has PROOF now and he's mad.

I believe the beginning of that episode was set up to show how stupid Todd and his uncles are and alos to show Todd's lyalty to Walt. They are openly discussing the train robbery in a public place and the end shows them driving away with the container in plain view pulled behind the car. They are obviously morons and this will come into play.

Another tidbit I noticed that i haven't seen mentioned is in the scene where Todd's uncles kill all of the dealers in the dessert while Lydia hides downstairs. Todd's uncle was wearing a ballistic vest under his shirt. I thought that was a nice touch to show how anal Gilligan is with covering every base in an effort to make everything as realistic as possible. Look closely and you will see the bulk underneath. I noticed this because I have to wear one and it stuck out to me as great detail work by Gilligan. Such attention to detail is simply expected on this show so much so that they don't even mention the vest.

Pulling a big, unmarked, tank of liquid is a sure-fire way to get stopped by the po po.

i agree with whoever said hanked followed jesse from saul's to walt's house.

i think he stops him from lighting up the house (or stops it before much burns) and while jesse HATES hank, he hates walt more now so he may indirectly aid hank.

remember earlier when he told hank "i wont talk about it with YOU"?

well now he's got motivation to come clean..he's already demonstrated he doesn't care about the money anymore.

do we know how long has elapsed?

is the timeline somewhere between walt being 51 and 52? remember at the end of s5.a, the fast-motion of all those bugged houses they were cooking in..that implies several months have gone by since walt's 51st birthday.

in other words, we may be only a couple months from his 52nd..plenty of time for walt to stop chemo and grow a crude head of hair & beard for his reappearance at his house.

This isn't the first time they've shown characters eating right after killing someone.I think Walt and Jesse were at a Diner after dissolving that kid in a barrel of acid.
Jesse was struggling with what they had done while Walt was chowing down.
I'm not sure if it means anything, but then again..

Something's going to happen with Hank's job. He simply seems to keep blowing off his administrative duties and is still obsessing about Walt. Gomez didn't look very happy with Hank last night.
