It's already clear Walt ends up on the run and goes into hiding (New Hampshire it appears)
It's reasonable to speculate the Feds found out he was Heisenberg.
Additionally, offing Hank while he's looking into the Fring files would just draw more heat I'd speculate.
Then again, if Walt found a way to destroy Hank and all the Fring case files...

I think Walt is great. I mean, I don't think murder and shite is cool, but I love how Walt has changed. It's fascinating. He basically turned into a bad arse drug dealer.

In real life I agree with you. But it's a tv show where he's the best character by far. It's awesome how he has changed from meek, dying school teacher who blew his shot at his fortune right out of college to a bad arse drug dealer who gets rid of anyone who gets in his way.

This is how I feel. Some of the things Walt does makes me cringe but overall I'm on #TeamWalt
Here's a pure sociopath now; the man can lie to anyone with the straightest face.
I feel kinda privileged that I watched seasons 1 through 5 in just a month's time
I was able to see his transformation almost overnight
