For those that have lived in caves for the past 6 months, NBC and its affiliates are taking over coverage of the EPL this season.

I did read that DirecTV is offering the Premier League ExtraTime package of channels (which I believe is at no cost) and it will be in HD. This will basically offer a splash channel with multi-view, then an individual channel for each game not being featured on a network.

Check your provider to see how this works for you. Since many bars have DirecTV, this will be huge for their business as every game can now be screened live in HD.

In addition to ExtraTime, every game will be streaming on NBCSports.com via NBC Sports Liva Extra.

Note that Swansea-United is being broadcast on the prime NBC Network.

An Internet search yielding the following carriers stating they are carrying ExtraTime. It is free for any subscriber who has NBCSN access:

DirecTV
Time Warner Cable
Cox
Bright House Networks
Mediacom
AT&T Uverse
Comcast
Optimum
Dish Network
Suddenlink

Times are CDT:

SATURDAY 8/17
Liverpool - Stoke City, 6:45 am (NBCSN)
Arsenal - Aston Villa, 9 am (NBCSN)
Norwich City - Everton, 9 am (Extra)
Sunderland - Fulham, 9 am (Extra)
West Brom - Southampton, 9 am (Extra)
West Ham - Cardiff, 9 am (Extra)
Swansea - Manchester United, 11:30 am (NBC)

SUNDAY 8/18
Crystal Palace - Spurs, 7:30 am (NBCSN)
Chelsea - Hull, 10 am (NBCSN)

MONDAY 8/19
Man City - Newcastle, 2 pm (NBCSN)

I am excited in my pants!

Glad the Arsenal game isn't super early. BTW the Community Shield is on Fox Soccer this Sunday. It's on at like 7am I think.
