I'll be at the match against Canada in about ten days. I'm not too optimistic.

However, I think we have a good coaching staff. Our main problem is lack of talent, IMO. Not lack of available talent, but lack of talent eligible for the Eagles pool.

Americans have competing interests and have to choose between football and rugby, it's pretty obvious why we lack talent (same for soccer).

Is this because they choose other sports? Or is there another reason?

Jealous. Yeah I don't like our chances either we didn't do to good during the summer tours. But I do like the direction we are moving in. Being added to the international test calendar and the Pacific Nations Cup is huge for future development. We really don't need to look any further than Canada and Japan to see potential for improvement.

I know the NZRU has been wanting to break into the American market for a long time. Playing against the Kwiwi's more often I think is the best thing we can do to improve quality of play.

We'll make The Cup's still two years away. The question is how many matches can we win once we get there.

Anybody see the Super Rugby Championship this past weekend? Great Game! The Semi's the previous week were awesome too.

Bledisloe Cup kicks off The Rugby Championship next weekend and the French Top 14 kicks into action! Can't wait for that, so many quality SH players making the move up North this season.

That's what I love about Rugby between the two hemispheres it's pretty much year round Rugby.
