Only one of those is active, so if you ask "who is", then it can only be that one.

You could pick several Lakers/Celtics teams and pull a big 3, my personal favorite is:

Johnny Bench
Pete Rose
Joe Morgan

Honorable Mention:
Tony Perez
Dave Concepcion
Ken Griffey Sr.
George Foster
Sparky Anderson

I hate the Cowboys, but it's gotta be Aikman/Emmitt/Irvin.

No Jordan, Pippen, Rodman?

72 win season.

3 peat.

Of course I'm not sure Jordan needed a third since he's the GOAT. Hell, Let's use Steve Kerr, Ron Harper, Luck Longley or Tony Kukoc the third player.

That wasn't even the best "Big 3" Messier was a part of. Gretzky-Messier-Coffey.

Ever? Off the top of my head:

NBA: Kareem, Magic, Worthy.
MLB: Ruth, Gehrig, Lazzeri (ok, the 3rd's a bit of a drag, but Ruth and Gehrig are the best big 3 by their lonesome. If you want more from the #3 guy, I guess Mantle-Berra-Rizzuto/Ford or Jackie-Snider-Campanella)
NFL: Montana, Rice, Lott
NHL: Gretzky, Messier, Kurri/Coffey

Now?

NBA: Duh.
MLB: Cabrera, Fielder, Verlander
NFL: Watt, A. Johnson, Foster
NHL: Toews, Kane, Keith
