New pond in progress.

About two house pads and maybe one shop pad left to come out of it. Already gathering structure to put in it. Any input appreciated!!

Get professional consultation before filling. Pond design can effect aeration, algea growth and carrying capacity.

its hard to tell from the pictures but is that pure clay or sandy clay? looks kind of sandy from here.

congrats man. how big is it? if you haven't checked out pond boss, make sure you do. a lot of good info

There was a thread about two weeks ago with several suggestions.
Gravel beds
Stacks of pallets
Concrete culverts
Christmas trees
PVC trees

Make sure you have plenty of room for bedding/spawning.
