JJ in 09 had a higher qb rating than Flynn did in 07. Fact

If Usc doesnt choke against cal, Saban never wins a bcs championship and might not have gone to the nfl so quickly and never becomes hc of bama.

this game is fun.

re you actually implying that perriloux being a dumb frick should be blamed on Les? He had to discipline the guy and I give Les a lot of credit for booting a key person on his team instead of letting him get away with the shite.

no no no.... Les recruits thugs, and has no discipline. i mean, who wanted one of the best hs players louisiana had ever seen?

Les has his faults. But the guy has brought this program further than its ever been. Will be a sad day when he hangs it up.

id say he left 2 on the table. 06 and 11

05 we weren't leaping over texas or usc so thats not really on the table.

last year maybe could be considered leaving one on the table but its not nearly as clear as 06 and 11

1, maybe 2 but definitely 2011.

but he was put in a bad position.

05 was a pretty impossible run as it was all things considering. would've loved to see us beat UGA in ATL but it didn't work out.

in 06, UF (the eventual NC) beat us head to head. so that's game over.

08 just wasn't gonna happen.

09 we lost to the eventual NC's so no.

10, i think was a surprise bc i don't think anyone had us doing very well that yr. but no real shot at title.

11 - see above

12- of all the yrs besides '11 this was one that coulda been special. had we beat bama. don't know if we woulda beat UGA in SECcg but you can definitely play a "what if" if UF was our only loss. while i think the UGA game woulda been 50/50, we'd woulda done to ND what bama did to ND.

He had a lot of sacks, but a much worse OL than Mett, who had practically same amount (low 30s iirc).
'09 had shite for a run game to keep D honest also.

This means nothing. JJ wasnt allowed to throw the ball. For good reason.

Had a higher yards per attempt than Flynn and JJ was sacked only 8 times more. We had zero running game in 09. So you thinking all we did was run is not correct. We ran for 170 yards as a team ONCE IN 09. We ran for less than 100 yards 4 times. Get a clue.

We had a first year QB with zero SEC experience. He played like one.

Agree...I think he will shine this year!

Oh, definitely eight. We should have won it every year. At some point in each one of those seasons, Miles has been undefeated- before letting it slip away...
