Its always funny when you go back and watch a movie you havent seen in a while and you realize youve been quoting a scene wrong the entire time

Happens to me all the time. I can play the scene in my head and ill feel 1000 percent sure i remember everything right about the scene and then ill watch it and be off

Me and my friends love and quote this movie so fricking much that I got actively pissed reading this thread bc so many people said lines wrong by like a word or two

Do y'all draw big, bulging triumphant bastards during these sessions?

After all, it's pretty common, like seven percent of kids do it.

Meh. It has funny parts but I think it is filthy just to be filthy in places. Some the writing seem predictable and using 'frick' tons of times doesn't equal humor but shows a lazy effort.

I found the fat kid to be annoying and was actively hoping he would get injured by the end of the flim. Without McLovin there isn't much decent humor. I would probably only re-watch his scenes.

Normally I'd agree with you but given the setting of the movie (trying to depict high school situations) I thought it fit so I wasn't put off by it.

As great as Apatow is with the first 2/3s of a film, he typically sucks at ending a movie. I think this applies to literally all of his films. But the first 2/3-3/4 is so fricking funny, you just have to forgive the man. He's just never gone down in a blaze of glory in the same way Edgar Wright does in his comedies (which typically get funnier as the movie goes on).

Yeah, I'm glad I could predict somewhat where the plot was going. This isn't a drama. As long as the comedy is funny, I don't really mind if it goes a predictable route. It's about the character interactions, and alot of the conversations in this film you would have with your friends. It's identifiable, and thus predictable.

Honestly I didn't enjoy Superbad as much as I thought I would. I got bored during it.
