What does that mean?
The menu is like most Italian restaurants in South LA. It's boring to me.
Spaghetti Aglio Olio
simple traditional preparation with garlic and olive oil, served with Italian Sausage and sauteed bell peppers
14.50
Meatballs and Spaghetti
our own light sauce brings new distinction to this favorite
13.75
Italian Sausage and Spaghetti
we make this mild sausage with a hint of spice and a touch of anise
13.50
Veal Pane
the elegant simplicity of pan fried veal dipped in bread crumbs and fresh grated cheese -- served with pasta
25.75
Brucioloni
round steak carefully rolled around a breaded stuffing of cheese, Italian Sausage, and ground beef -- served with pasta
16.75
Canneloni
homemade pasta, stuffed with chopped veal, cheese and herbs. Finished in cream sauce and tomato gravy.
13.75
Baked Lasagne
Sal's mother's own recipe. Layers of meat and cheese.... like none you've ever had
17.75
Spaghetti and Oysters
fresh oysters sauteed with green onions, served over spaghetti aglio olio
15.50
Chicken Cacciatora
a half chicken sauteed in onion, garlic, and white wine, in a sauce made from fresh diced tomatoes $16.75
Spitini
thinly sliced porkloin medallions rolled around ham, provolone, seasoned bread crumbs, and tomato relish, baked and topped with sauteed mushrooms. Served with pasta
It's just not my style of Italian food.
Then, you are served by high schoolers who don't know a damn thing about the menu or dinner service.
I may have overstated my dislike for the place, but there are better Italian options. IMO
At least it isn't expensive.

I'd eat that menu until I weighed 300 pounds.

Your overstatement was greatly overshadowed by
quote:
It is literally the best restaurant in the state.
and I'm not making an overstatement.
