That seems high. I could see maybe 24 pounds. I did right at 20 pounds and the water for my imperial porter, and figured I may have had room for a couple more pounds and that's it.

Beersmith will let you go up to 25 before giving you the warning

eta- at 1.25 qt/lb; 28.5 @ 1.1 qt/lb
