I'm on board. This kinda reminds me of the Ryno signing. I like how Dell gets things done, low key and goes after under the radar guys. Bower used to put us in the ring for MLE guys who would spurn us or never pan out.

He isn't. He didn't play anywhere in the league last year. He was on a DLeague team apparently.

Last season, 122 players listed at 6’9” or taller played at least 600 minutes– Copleand was the only player to grab fewer than 120 rebounds…

Well he would be there for his scoring and not his boards

Also makes me think we are getting a rebounding specialist for the bench

Ian Begley ?@IanBegley 13s

Based on early conversations, several teams have shown interest in Chris Copeland: Pelicans, Bucks, Mavs, Jazz, Wizards, Thunder among them.

Sounds good to me. Only problem is a Chris Copeland signing would pretty much kill our chances at a Jrue/Gordon/Iggy/Davis lineup. :(

If we could sign Copeland and re-sign Aminu for cheap, I'd feel pretty good about our team next year. Copeland can hit an open shot and Aminu can give you 20 minutes of energy, defense and rebounding.

It scares me when I say a guy 2 years older than me is too old to sign a long contract.
