I noticed quite a few things different from the book. I assume this thread will be spoiler free so I won't get into it, but I thought it was well done. Looking forward to the rest of the season.
About the one season thing, King was interviewed and he said that if it does well they could possibly do another season. It would have to be written from scratch though.

Are you referring to Junior Switchblade's crap performance? I fricking hate it when one shite actor (Pope from Falling Skies, Bolton Bastard from GoT) can ruin a fricking scene or story.
Otherwise, for being a network show, it wasn't bad, and I'll tune in next week.

Yeah, that entire "showdown" between the sheriff and councilman in the empty police station had opposite the intended effect. It wasn't tense, it was corny.

If something goes up high, stands to reason it goes deep too.

Ya, Im sure it goes pretty deep, but we can dig mines that are miles deep. Seems like they could at least dig some ventilation shafts, which is going to be a necessity that no one has mentioned yet.
