With Suarez, Gerrard, and Sturridge all set to play this week, here's hoping they all stay healthy ahead of the derby this weekend!

We usually come back very flat after international breaks. That coupled with being away at the Bitters makes me nervous. We need 3 points to keep pace.

Luis will be rested and ready to go after coming back in Henry's plane. Suarez with a brace to move to 10 goals in 7 matches as the Reds cruise to a 3-1 win.

Hopefully, Suarez gets rested for most of the match given Uruguay are in a very nice spot to qualify...

Hopefully whatever back line we trot out is ready for Lukaku and fares better than last year

In other news, Mamadou Sakho scores 2 goals to complete France's comeback against Ukraine in WC Qualifying!?!?

His second was an own goal. Would love nothing more than for him to take Koscielny's spot in the French XI.

The second was an OG for Ukraine, but he still had a great match. It sucks that we can't find a way to play him and Agger together.

I still don't rate him too highly yet. He just..seems like a liability out there.

Mentally, yes I agree.

Physically, there are few who match him in the EPL. He's one of the most physically gifted players at his position I've seen in a long time. Its just so raw. Hopefully that will change as he matures.

I guess that is probably why you don't see too many defenders enter their prime until 26-27 since they need that experience before dominating. A mistake from a young forward and people groan and move on. A mistake from a young defender and it costs a goal. Managers don't want to start inexperienced defenders, so it slows their development. Sakho is 23, so he should be given some time to get there.

I like Sakho alot... I think he and Varane will be France's 2 CBs for the WC.

I hate to say it, but I would sell Agger, this summer the latest, while he still has some market value. Skrtel, too and bring in a new RCB to partner Sakho. More of a ball playing CB... Toure is too old and Wisdom, Ilori & Kelly arent ready IMO..

Dont get me wrong, I think Agger is still one of our top 2 CBs, if not the best, but the writing is on the wall... you dont spend 17mm on a benchwarmer and they dont appear to be able to play together in a "back 4," considering they're both left footed and havent all season.

I think Skrtel would go before Agger. He isn't comfortable with the ball at his feet while Agger clearly is. Toure has at most two more years of playing at a high level, so that would leave us with Agger and Sakho as the top two and guys like Ilori, Wisdom, and Kelly to fill in when they are in need of rest.

Plenty of CBs play together who are both right-footed.

I know, but neither of them play on the right for club or country... Not saying its impossible or that we won't see it at some point, but we're close to December and haven't yet... There are so few left footers out there, that most will learn to play on their natural side without a need to play on the right...

It's just my opinion, but if someone offers us good money for Agger, I think we will sell him...
