Sorry fellas. Kinda got sick of the board outside of this thread. I'll try to contribute once the international break ends. While obviously thrilled with our position in the table, I don't like the way we are playing at all.

After the last three seasons, I just want the table position.

Hope you can contribute more, friend. I have also been posting less. Mainly due to my complete disinterest in college sports. Which has forced the internal question of why I frequent a sub-forum of a website whose primary focus means frick all to me. Yet I'm still here.

The only reason I even wandered over here today is because I have a big paper on whether or not consent determines morality in markets due tomorrow that I haven't written a word of.

Hah. You´ve travelled, I´d like to see what twat (and especially their professional baggage), will be grading it.

Good luck (you´ll knuckle under and present it from a faux innocent myopic Yankee point of view, won´t you?).

He's had me before, and I'm a pain in his classes, so I don't have that option. I'll 'knock it out the park' like I always do..at around 4am when I realize I have no time left to procrastinate.

Seems as good a reason as any!

And thus consent is a meaningless and empty term in my opinion. It doesn't exist.

Hopefully Harry Wilson could be that future winger we have been longing for.

ETA: Please let us spend the money to get this guy.

Very similar to how I feel. Our position is obviously the most important but our second halves have been pretty bad, sans the last one or two matches.

Pogba would be incredible and he could further twist the screws on ManUre...

I think Juventus would be asking stupid money though...

Getting Suarez back was a nice boost. Will be nice once Coutinho's back as well

He's gotta be, what, 3 or so weeks out? His injury was a supposed 6 weeks IIRC

He's not originally a RB, but I really want Toby Alderweireld. I posted that this summer and I would still love to see him in our squad.

Saving this thread before it drops to the third page.....

If this 3 man back alignment will be our go to this season, I think its time to loan Sterling out.

He clearly needs more playing time than we can provide, and is not a good fit at RWB at all. He also is not a guy that plays centrally.

There was actually one of the ESPN Liverpool analyst blogs about that this week. LINK

Also, another good article about the Lucas/Gerrard combo, how its not working, and what we need to do going forward.

LINK

I'm all for some experimentation in that midfield as I do agree that Lucas and Gerrard have not looked great there together so far this year.

I am not opposed to loaning out Sterling... Although I think he's looked ok and scored goals when he's played centrally ( granted as a sub, late in games last year)

In agree that they are not an ideal pairing... Perhaps, 5 years ago when Gerrard still had the legs. Lucas has not been the same since his injury and I've been on about an upgrade for a while now. Word is, it is a priority in January and there are plenty of DMs available that are better... At all price points. I would actually keep Hendo in for Lucas until proven otherwise. Gerrard is getting up there, but I still believe in him... This time last year a lot were calling for him to be benched, but he played through it and had a great season.
