Spurs interested in Balotelli?

Balotelli + Adebayor = fireworks.

And I love that.

Supposedly Frank de Boer turned them down after AVB was fired and is still not interested.

That seems to contradict what I read recently...but who really knows with the different "sources" each media outlet has. It's completely possible that he wasn't interested in taking over a club mid-season. Once the season is over, that's a completely different situation. He just won his 4th Eredivisie title in a row. There's really not much more he can do at Ajax other than progress in the UCL...which is a pretty tall task. The article states that if he does leave, then he wants to go to a club where he can leave his mark. I think he could certainly do that with Spurs.

There is a lot of chatter concerning Frank de Boer right now. I hope it's true having him reconnect with Eriksen and Jan could work out really well

I read an article last night claiming that de Boer has spoken with both Eriksen and Vertonghen. I'm hopeful that hiring de Boer would calm Vertonghen down and he'd be willing to stay.

de Boer would be my top choice, but who else would interest you guys if de Boer doesn't come? The only other names I'm seeing are Moyes (IMHO, frick THAT), and Pochettino.

I wouldn't mind us trying to steal Martinez from Everton.

I can't imagine Martinez moving. Although it's not quite as lateral of a move as people think. The Bitters entire squad depends on those loanees.

I'm so tired of seeing people say this. Take a look at Everton's injuries this year.

Gibson and Kone have been out all year. (Big reason why Everton got a MF and FW on the loan market)
Oviedo broke his leg about 1/3 into the season.
Pienaar, Jagielka and Traore (loan) have all missed significant time this year.
Mirallas and Distin are currently out.
Deulofeu missed the middle of the season and I think Everton is better when he doesn't play.

I will agree that Barry and Lukaku have been crucial players this year. It's possible to get Barry on a free this offseason. So that leaves one player on loan that Everton have been so dependent on. Also, Fellaini $$ this offseason

Primarily it's been de Boer, van Gaal and Pochettino from what I've seen. A month or so ago I saw a brief mention of former Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri taking over. In recent days, an Italian newspaper has brought the rumor back to the surface.

We need Europa! I sure hope we can get it together and get a result from our last game.

Europa FTW! Next year winning Europa actually means something plus none of the Champions league teams drop down.

Sucks about Finns. At least the boys played well so you didn't have to watch a terrible game on a phone

Hull plays Arsenal in the FA cup final and because Arsenal qualified for champions league the runners up get Europa. If Hull lose they have to enter a playoff stage but if they win they automatically get placed in Europa. I guess if Hull win then we have to play that playoff stage.
