It seems every year there are some dumbasses from LA that kill bald eagles.

certainly not defending what they did, but i would think they were collateral damage from whatever the idiots were actually trying to kill.

I agree. They're basically vultures. They probably found some poisoned meat intended for coyotes, or ate some dead things that had died of poisoning.

We have one that would take our ducks. He would sit on a dead tree and wait for us to shoot, then go pick one up and eat on it. He was not worried at all. I need to get it on film this year.
