It's like throwing a spit ball in baseball. Gaylor Perry is in the goddam HOF for "taking the easy way out."

But tebow, we weren't good team players because we didn't flop to get the calls.

i can't believe how many in here are condoning this behavior.

i'm guessing it's mainly heat bandwagon fans.

and the guy who says he was likely flopping to avoid injury

can't be serious. right?

he had a better chance of injuring himself flopping than not flopping.

i also like the, "i played competitive sports" guys who condone it and say he was putting his team in a situation to win.

we get it bro. you're a badass.

......yeh, that's on tactic.

but anyone with a competitive bone in their body would want to win fair and square, not cheating the system to gain an advantage.

flopping is called out on every basketball court, on every level, and every part of the world. the guys crying for fouls and flopping get called out for it quickly.

they've known since they were playing biddy basketball, it's a bitch move.

It has to be. No person watching this shite fest going on can say it is good for the sport. I would be happy if these guys are suspended 5 games for flopping. The players would get the message

Bingo. He said we weren't good team players b/c we didn't flop to put the team in the best situation

poorly twisting the argument to fit his point of view, just further showing his ignorance.

Refs should be fined and suspended for calling that a foul.

The foul occurred before the flop.....but yeah, I get the point. What does the NBA doe to refs who miss calls? Nothing. If it's an important enough play in a high profile, big game and the media harps on it, you might get a statement from the league acknowledging the wrong call was made.

This whole flopping controversy is out of control. It's been part of the game for decades. Why crack down now? What about wide receivers and outfielders that "trap" balls instead of catching them cleanly trying to sell it to the umpires or refs? What about catchers pulling strikes back..."framing it" for the umpires? Hockey and soccer players take dives all of the time trying to draw penalties. I don't understand why the NBA makes such an issue of this but they never make an issue of a player trying to sell a foul when he is in the cat of shooting. And anybody that thinks a player should be suspended for a flop has gone full retard.

Let prove y'all wrong. In football, lsu players have been coached to act injured to gain an advantage. Lineman are also taught to hold inside if they can get away with it. In baseball, you try and steal signals. In tennis, you take injury timeouts to break a players momentum. These are taught by EVERY coach. But lets guess, none of you tough guys listened to your coach because y'all didnt want to take the easy way out.

Nah man, only sissies who do the easy way do that. Real men don't even have power steering cause that is just too easy

.

great points.

the difference tho? i've never heard on any level of competitive basketball a coach teaching or instructing his players to flop. to take a charge? YES.

No Coach is teaching players to over embellish falling down during a non-charge situation that would be inconsistent to the contact recieved.

nice try tho.

if it's such an accepted practice in the game of basketball, why is the NBA fining players for it? Why is this even a topic of discussion? Shouldn't we all just have accepted it?

I hate Bosh and flopping more than anyone. However, it looks like he trips over Wade's shoe on this one. Am i seeing things? FWIW, Bosh is still a bitch. He should have suspended for that Boozer "elbow."

regardless if Wade is even in that play, Bosh thrusted his momentum purposely.
He was going to hit the ground whether Wade's shoe was there or not. because he was flopping.
