Where can I fish and catch crabs without a boat in Galveston?

Go wade at the state park. If you see a whole bunch of big camps you're in the right area.

You can fish in the water, and you don't have to be on a boat to catch crabs if you know what I mean

My favorite spot is on the peninsula at Roll over pass. Best surf fishing ever. I have seen folks crabbing in the pass as well as the bay behind it. Ask around and there will be lots of spots you don't need a boat. The water needs to be green which it should be soon. If anytime you are surf fishing Galveston watch the tides and birds if you don't see bait keep watching. Pretty much my rule anywhere.

Any dirt road that leads back in the woods to some water.
