Not to mention that is a direct quote.
A direct quote with the name spelled differently each time it's mentioned.

Doesn't mean they aren't related.
It pretty much means their dads aren't brothers, which is implied when you call someone with the same last name as you your cousin.

I didn't mention him possibly being related to those 2 because their last names are spelled differently but I guess that doesn't totally dismiss that he may be related to them. It would be odd, though.

His mom with two L's could have married a Toliver

Possible but it would be odd. Lol Either way, I'm just glad he's LSU. If he's related to them, good. If he isn't, its even better. It would show that LSU's brand nationally is truly growing.

He is definitely a legacy. To whom, I have no idea.

Why is Toliver so high on LSU? Being he's a Florida kid I was just wondering. Is he related to PP7 or Avery? Same area high school or just a straight up LSU(DBU) fan? He seems like the 15' version of Chris Hardeman as far as being pro-LSU.
I am 100% certain that Kevin isn't going anywhere...I know the family....for him to decommit something drastic would have to happen...trust me, he will be representing well and recruiting for LSU

i know a family down the bayou in Golden Meadow that spells their last name three different ways.

Cousin of Terrance/Chris. He has been all LSU from day one.
And also wanted to say that there has been no signs that Daub was bought and paid for by FSU. Hell, most thought his LSU commitment would never stick.

Yeah, after the interest from Garrett, Daub has been a distant memory...So, kind of good for all parties IMO...

KT's dad is from the Westbank (other side of N.O. for those that don't know) and was a graduate of West Jefferserson H.S... His dad was there right around the same time I was there. In other words, pretty much La. natives.
KT will be in Purple and Gold... He said he's after that no. 7 when he get on campus.

ProjectP2294 '15 CB (LSU commit) Kevin Toliver II is visiting Auburn this weekend quote: I also thought he mentioned in an article a while back is he was related to former LSU WR Chris Toliver He didn't. Because Chris spells his last name with 2 'L's. He's related to Henre Toliver at Rummel.
I'm a Tolliver... Some parts of the family use one L others use 2....

Thanks for the clarification. You related to Terrence?

Is that by choice that you guys use different letters? Serious question.
Posted on 6/14/13 at 2:02 am to Ironhead985
Not related as far as I know. My grandmother had 19 brothers and sisters.. For some reason a couple of her younger brothers only used 1 L. Funny thing is, my mom and I talked about it yesterday. I do THINK I'm related to Landon Collins though. I read an article on ESPN that he stayed in Sicily Iskand at a relatives house after Katrina. My last name collins, I'm from SI (only about 400 people) and some distance relatives stayed at my rent house after the storm. I was out the country so I'm not sure who but since he went to Bama... He Tiger Bait anyway!!!

You can't control who you're related to. Lol. Nah but its very interesting though.

top underclassman at rivals 5 star challenge:
6. DB Kevin Toliver II, Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian
Toliver is very calm, cool and collected at defensive back, a trait that will bode well for the LSU commitment down the line. While he didn't make many big plays on Sunday during the 7-on-7 tournament, he made some amazing plays on Saturday, including a one-handed steal from receiver Ermon Lane. His reaction to the play (essentially none, as if it was something he does every day) speaks volumes about his confidence and he showed great feet and good instincts in solo coverage.
