Along with a group of other elite '15 recruits. Got this off of Auburns board. What's the boards opinion here? Is it a camp, or just a campus "tour"

He's a part of one of those traveling tours that takes a number of recruits to various colleges. Jeffery Holland, top '15 LBer and teammate of Toliver, is going along as well.

Toliver is a solid LSU Tiger and not going anywhere else

I think it's unrealistic to expect a guy who committed to LSU as a high school sophomore to not visit any other schools.

There is always doubt in the recruiting process, but watching his interviews, I doubt there is any chance he flips...As solid as there can be IMO. This thing he is on now is a scheduled traveling tour...really nothing in the individual recruiting arena.

Exactly. FSU and Florida have tried their hardest but he isn't budging.

I like that Holland is getting a free trip to LSU with his teammate so hopefully it will have the effect on him that Clifton Garrett's visit had on him

It's just a traveling tour for kids from Jacksonville. I'll explain how much it means to some of the kids like Toliver that are solid commits, Kain Daub is on the trip and he's been bought and paid for at FSU and isn't even being recruited hard by us anymore. Chavis wants him so bad he's recruiting him at DE. It's just an opportunity for these kids to get exposure and visit schools they may not ordinarily get a chance to. It's great for us because Toliver's school has about 6 studs on that trip and most are future recruits so he can be in their ear about LSU

Why is Toliver so high on LSU? Being he's a Florida kid I was just wondering. Is he related to PP7 or Avery? Same area high school or just a straight up LSU(DBU) fan? He seems like the 15' version of Chris Hardeman as far as being pro-LSU.

I believe his Dad is from NOLA or somewhere in La. I also thought he mentioned in an article a while back is he was related to former LSU WR Chris Toliver

He didn't. Because Chris spells his last name with 2 'L's. He's related to Henre Toliver at Rummel.

Cousin of Terrance/Chris. He has been all LSU from day one.

Cousin of Terrance/Chris.
That would be tough considering they aren't even related.

One of the young prospects that impressed throughout the four day event was 2015 CB Kevin Toliver II, Trinity Christian, Jacksonville, Fl. Toliver is the younger cousin of two former LSU players in Terrance Toliver and Chris Toliver.

Wrong?

Yes. Wrong. First off, they misspelled Chris Tolliver's last name. Second, it's been disproven that Terrance and Kevin are related.

However, the Toliver family has many ties Louisiana, which ultimately helped cultivate a relationship with LSU. “We are New Orleans natives and even have a bloodline at LSU with Chris Toliver from Rayville, playing there a few years ago. Chris Tolliver is Kevin’s cousin.” The Tolivers absorbed the atmosphere at LSU over the weekend as the Tigers took on rival Alabama. Although Tiger Stadium's atmosphere was electric, it wasn’t the only thing the family took from the trip.

Glad he is all LSU though

It's interesting that he has cousins that spell their last name differently.

The writer of the article still can't seem to get Chris Tolliver's name correct.

Meh, people spell their names differently. Doesn't mean they aren't related. Not to mention that is a direct quote.

He also spelled it correctly the second time
