I wanted to this season to be all new players, boy was I wrong. I'm hoping for All Stars 2 next season. Bring back the brigade, Jeff and Jordan, even Jesse, idc this season sucked so bad.

Didn't Amanda say something like "frick you Julie Chen"?

I did too, and I don't think either of us was wrong. As mentioned, the biggest problem was that the cast just sucked incredibly bad. I've never seen an all stars BB but I think that'd be cool. I am totally against the whole mix and match vets and noobs angle though.

Yeah I don't know how the hell they didn't call her out. I guess their reasoning is that Aaryn's only story line was what she said, Amanda's was her odd pairing with McCrae or so that's what CBS thought.

Aaryn was just an easier target. They knew she'd have to answer politically correct and play nice. It could have got uncomfortable if they had played the same game with Amanda.

Respectuflly disagree. Sick of Jeff and Jordan, Mr Pectacular, Rachel/Brendan, Dick/Danielle, Boogie, Janelle. Even tired of Dan. Take all those repeat offenders off, and I'm not sure you have enough contestants for a true All-Stars season (and no more mixed new and old, please).

The season hasn't sucked because it's all new players; it's because of what new players were cast (and even then I'd argue there have been some thoroughly entertaining eliminations and moments). Producers/casting director need to get off their asses and work to cast a better season. Perhaps the type of person who wants to be in this show limits the variety or depth of characters they can find, but I really doubt it. I guess it's difficult to determine how cast members will act when all put together, but that's casting's entire job.

Also, find folks you don't need to coach in the diary room or feed lines to. Maybe I'm just projecting my own thoughts but viewers like contestants who at least feel like real people. I'm sick of folks shouting their diary room sessions to try and be exciting (Judd, Chef Joe, Helen, etc. etc.), using cheesy, prepared dialog (Amanda, Helen again), or not being able to communicate like a human being (Elissa).

Is it really that difficult to find 12 -16 people who fit that very simple mold?

This! I can't stand listening to these scripted diary sessions anymore. They need some people that are interesting enough that they don't have to do this.

Another thing I don't like is all these shout outs that people are giving during their last speech on the live eviction show. We get it, you have family and friends that you haven't seen in awhile. Completely makes the rest of the speech (as if it already wasn't) pointless.

Dan and Will are two of the more popular players because they came across as real instead of production creations.

This season was messed up from the start because of Elissa and the MVP twist. Also, the season was lengthened. This cast may have been more interesting or compelling if Nick doesn't get voted out so soon and there were 2 powerful alliances going at it.

Jeremy and Nick were douchebags but both were entertaining, especially Jeremy.

Come on, do you really want to watch him again or would you prefer they find someone new? I find it ridiculous how often they've gone back to the same well over the last five seasons or so.

Won't be posting much anymore until the finale since I kind of lost the ban (pause for applause), unless there's some big twist and I just can't resist.

Dude. I would think no one here is going to hold you to that. Post all you want.

Were the DR talks really scripted? I mean, like production told them more or less what to say?

Set the tone for the whole season. The floaters gained power after this and started getting out all of the strong personalities.

Then the main cum dumpster herself took control and owned the house until last night.

Jeremy and David (although both dumb as dirt, but very social and physical) and Nick going out early really took the sails out of this year. In hindsight, if Amanda was the first person evicted this season might have been really really enjoyable. Even though I didn't really like some of the characters, it would've made for a hell of a lot more interesting gameplay.

If you pay attention it is clear that DR sessions are scripted even down to the cheezy one liners.
