Basketball is by far my 1 followed by football. Baseball tends to have a huge bandwagon that I just can't get with. I pull for the, but every baseball fan claims to be a fan but didn't show up the few bad years under Paul. They claim to not be basketball but show up few times lsu Bball is good. Also baseball fans want to be above the game too much. Try too hard.

I know a large number of Baton Rouge based people that looooove baseball and refer to basketball as n------ ball. I have a feeling a large portion of non Bball fans call it that.

I grew up in 80's when Daddy Dale was more successful than the football program. Back then, basketball was indeed #1. It just means that I'll root for any LSU team which is doing well.

I watch baseball. I live and follow football! 10K for a baseball game if everyone shows up. 100K for FB game... you do the math. The litmus test is if you had a chance to buy season tickets to baseball or FB but not both which ones would you buy?

No it would not have. Baseball has never been anywhere close to football in popularity at LSU. Unless there's some massive change in college sports in the future, it never will be.
I love them both, but when we lose in baseball I get annoyed and forget about it later. Every loss in football makes me totally miserable. The highs are much higher too.
