Probably because football is a shorter season and each loss is magnified and can change the outcome of the season.

Football, let alone your fav school's team, is king.

In some ways the question is almost coitus vs oral..filet vs bone-in ribeye..lobster vs king crab..

It's all good, and there's a time for both!

football is for sure first for me but baseball doesnt frustrate me near as much as football does. nothing frustrates me more than when we lose a big football game

Watch every baseball game. It is simply a way to take my mind off of the lack of football. I would have baseball never win another game again if it meant one natty for the football team.

The great thing is these sports don't conflict with the exception of spring football. So baseball in spring football in fall. No need to compare.

But I guess if you had to compare it would be

1. Baseball
2. Football

But there really isn't much difference. I love and follow both very equally.

Football first. Basketball right behind. Baseball is just something for me to watch on TV in May/June if the team is doing well.

Love Tiger Baseball and have been to Omaha but Football is king. That's just the way it is for me. 90,000 plus vs. 10,000.

If we brought Mike out in his traveltrailer for the baseball games, then would I think about putting LSU Baseball before LSU Football.

They don't overlap, so I don't have to choose. No favorites

As a sport, I'm really getting sick of football, mostly with the more recent rule changes and especially the College Football system.

That said, I will attend every LSU baseball, basketball, and football game I can possibly make it to. Hell even a bit of soccer and volleyball.

It's hard to compare both. I'm a diehard fan of baseball and football but it's weird - I act differently while attending games of both sports. At football games, I'm much more likely to be the drunk douche sitting, er, standing next to you yelling things at the opposing team that you wouldn't tell your neighbor's dog.
But at baseball games, I'm much more collected. I'm calmer at baseball games but I get very animated in May and the post-season. I am very respectful of the other team because it's just a different feel. A different sport, different fans, different personalities.
Which do I like more? That truly is hard to know. I get MUCH more upset after a football loss than a baseball loss unless the baseball loss came in an important post-season game. When North Carolina beat us with a grandslam in the 9th inning of the world series in 2008, I was hurt. Hurt bad, real bad.
When Alabama had us beat in New Orleans on January 9th, 2012, I was pissed. I was more angry than I've ever been at an LSU game period. I felt betrayed and I felt like the coach let me down but I also felt like I should have known better than to expect a different outcome, given the quarterback fiasco.

LSU Baseball = LSU Football in terms of my passion toward both IMO.
I just choose to exhibit my passion for both in different ways.

LSU baseball reminds me of sitting at the kitchen table listening to games on the radio with my dad when I was little. It reminds me of my first baseball game he took me to in the old Box. It reminds me of he and I celebrating after a homerun, or a timely hit, and of course, after every single win. It's a very nastalgic game for me personally.

LSU football reminds me of my college years.

I went to the Saturday baseball game in February against Maryland on a freezing day... they announced a special during the game where with your ticket stub you could get into the LSU/Mississippi State basketball game right after in the PMAC for $5

after the baseball game ended I was on my way home back to Chalmette
