Ok Im getting married June 29th and coming down to New Orleans that night to stay and get up the next morning to get on our cruise. Anyway we are not having a reception so we want to eat some where nice that night. So where should we go?

by deductive reasoning i'd say there are plenty of nice chain restaurants in metairie that will entice your palette
that was the dick response
no dick response: must know where you are staying and what you want to spend

Domenica is in the lobby. Great restaurant, their pasta is second to none.
Seafood, the new joint Peche is great. Same guys who run Cochon.

Irene's Cuisine seems like a good fit for this occasion IMO

August
Stella
Commander's Palace
Le Foret
I would say this kind of event calls for pulling out all of the stops. Those are the very best of New Orleans, IMO. Totally fine dining. Top notch everything.
In the order listed, IMO. It really doesn't get much better than those.

What about Drago's? Any good?

I'll second Domenica. Also look at Bayona, Herbsaint, GW Fins, Irene's or Pelican Club.

Domenica in the Roosevelt is one of the best Italian places in the city. Truly high end, although not nearly as "fancy" as the other places listed (although still "fancy").
