Mine is Andy Tanner. He's described as a Lance Moore type: shifty, runs good routes, and knows how to get open. He has better size (6'0) than Lance, and if he finds himself a place on special teams, he could fine himself a roster spot. He's still eligible for 1 more year on the PS.

I think he's going to be another one of those guys in camp every years who people expect something from and never gets off the practice squad.

Does Kevin Reddick count as a darkhorse? I think he makes the 53

Lofton Vilma Hawthorne Humber Herring? Is there room for Reddick on 53? I could care less about herring but i'm not sure he'll beat out humber just yet.

A guy that stands out to me is Nick Toon. I'm expecting this "redshirt rookie" to have a decent outing this camp and year overall.

Nick Toon isn't a dark horse. He will make the roster.

When competing with humber and herring i would say there is room. Could definitely beat out these guys IMO. Just depends on how many ILB we carry.

Humber is legit.... not unbeatable but not a pushover.

Humber is also one of our top special teams players.

Herring, on the other hand...

Dark Horse:

Tanner, Fayson, Reddik, C. Thomas, Rufus, Ryan Griffin.

I'll go with Tyrunn Walker. His roster spot became harder when they drafted Jon Jenkins. I still say he makes the roster.

I wish the saints could keep 75 players this year. We seem to have a lot of options on depth.

Dang is that hakim WDF?

Dark horse?
I will go RGIV.
He plays well enough that Payton will not risk putting him and seeing him grabbed from the P.S..
