Looks like we may have 10+ feet coming down the river. rising 2 feet a day up north

I got a feeling the Bonne Carre will be getting opened again this year. There goes the fishing in the lake!
Oh, and I have no doubt the Honey Island Shooting Range will be closed a few more times due to high water too!

Is that a good thing?

Damn that's late in the year for this shite

Good thing for me. Love some backwater. Imagine all that muddy water will mess with the saltwater fishing and keep the basin high through the summer.

I kept saying a month ago that there has to be more water coming. It has to be. They've been getting their tits ripped up north.

All those storms in the midwest already have rivers in Missouri flooding... It's coming!

to tell you the truth i'm kinda glad, the basin will stay high as balls for the limit change

We'll see, but its gonna take a lot more rain in the Ohio and lower Missouri in a very short time.

10 feet up north....what does that translate to down here? 2 feet or less?

Think they got a 15+ up there. Looking like 10 here. Gonna start rising this weekend. It's 28' on Tunica Ms and gonna get to 43 by the 22nd.

Damn that's alot of fricking numbers

You can see how fast its rising up there and will bring most places along the river back to flood stage. That has expected rainfall forecasted in
Posted on 6/3/13 at 9:05 pm to FelicianaTigerfan
I hope they don't shut the levee down in BR.
Posted on 6/3/13 at 9:06 pm to FelicianaTigerfan
The 28 day only forecast the lowest the water will get. Not the highest and its not very accurate. Stick with the 5 day forecast. Keep min mind it takes 2 weeks for the water to get from cape G to New Orleans. Cape G is cresting on 6/6. It won't get that bad.
