Mine is a no brainer. 2011 MLB World Series Game 6. I have never been so on edge in a game. The game was actually pretty boring until the 9th inning, then it became the most epic game ever. I don't know how anything will ever top it.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, WATCH THIS SHITT. LINK

for me it's game 4 of the 2002 WCF. Kings take a huge lead, lakers battle back but still down 2 with one final possession, and then Horry hits the game winning 3. I was there live and it was such an awesome experience.

TB and Boston games going on simultaneously when Boston blew it and TB went to extras then won. Craziest shite I'v ever seen. Pap blows the game. Madden pinch hits dude of the end of the bench with 2 outs and he hits a tank to go to extras. Then Longoria walkoff.

That's actually the first game that came to my mind. Although, I'm a rangers fan so I will forever be bitter about that game.

I'm biased but I completely agree with 2011 World Series game 6

Crazy tension throughout the game then from 9th inning on it somehow cranked up to another level. I've gone crazy over events in sports before but nothing in comparison to Freese's HR and I don't think anything ever will again

No doubt. Not sure how anyone who watched that game could come to a different conclusion.

Watching Jeff Fryer shoot threes just beyond mid court.

Probably the Kentucky vs Florida basketball game in 2003 when Florida had just gone to #1, and UK beat them 70-55. Place was crazy.

Coolest was game 5 of the 2003 World Series. Loved watching the Yankees go down!

Most electrifying was 1995 Notre Dame at Ohio State. Greatest game day atmosphere I've ever experienced.

Game one of the 1988 World Series. Kirk Gipson wins the game in dramatic fashion. I was 10 and that game will be etched in my memory forever.

The 2012 Montana State AA High School Football championship. Bozeman @ Butte. I graduated from Bozeman 2 years ago and still live here, so my buddy and I made the trip to Butte. I've never seen an atmosphere like that for a high school football game. Played at Montana Tech's stadium. Almost 9,000 there, mostly ugly, loud, rowdy Butte people.

I'll start with 2:30 left in the 4th quarter. Butte is up 35-21, has the ball.

Interception. Bozeman drives, scores. 35-28, 1:30 left.

Butte gets the ball back, promptly fumbles. Bozeman drives, scores, 2-point conversion successful. 36-35 Bozeman, :34 left. Pandemonium in the east end zone. Silence in the rest of the stadium.

Butte frantically drives down the field, kicker (who was actually a linebacker) hits a 46-yard field goal in a swirling wind off a torn-up field as time expires. Stadium explodes.

Best football game I have ever seen at any level.

Do you remember watching a kid named Cody Carriger? I think Dad coaches and his kid reshirted at Oregon.

Edited: he wouldn't have played 2012.

Saints vs Vikings NFC title game

I told my brother before the late 4th quarter pick on Favre that when we blow this I may be done with sports for a few years. Outside of my child being born and right before my wedding, I've never been that nervous in my life.

In terms of just great games, I'd throw the ALCS in 2004 up there. That game 4 where the red sox avoided the sweep that went way into extra innings was pretty incredible.

Yeah- great memory but that wasn't a great game, just a great ending for us Dodger fans.

Campbell Conference Finals - 1993
Maple Leafs vs. LA Kings Game 7

NBA Finals Lakers vs. Pistons - 1988 Game 6 (Pistons led the series 3-2 and Isiah went out of his mind on a bad ankle as you could feel Detroit was going to take it...but the Lakers with Magic still had it. Tense, exciting, great basketball.)
