Is it possible for tomorrow to be any more bizarre than our first two games?

Think about everything that has happened
Game 1:
- Eades gets shelled, only goes 2 and 1/3
- Rhymes and Bregman knock each other out. Rhymes somehow still makes catch
- Relievers look shaky, give up 5 runs in last 2 innings, making a 10-2 lead a little bit uncomfortable
- Despite rumors that both sustained more severe injuries, Bregman and Rhymes let everyone know they're playing on Saturday
Game 2:
- 5 total errors in the game for LSU, 8(?) combined for both teams
- The Bregman home run that wasn't
- Nola throws 42 pitches in the first and gives up 5 runs. He still goes 7 strong with 0 ER
- LSU leaves 15(?) on base
- Umpires inconsistent for both teams throughout the game
- LSU scored multiple runs on walks/Wild pitches/HBP
- McMullen hurts himself running to first base
Not to mention the fact that last weekend Laird hurt himself by tripping over his glove and Glen gets suspended on Thursday night.
Anything I'm forgetting? No way tomorrow can be any more bizarre, right?

I imagine losing could be worse.

Yeah it could, but it's time for an LSU outburst too

LSU will blow the doors off of whoever they play.

Well obviously losing would be worse. I'm just saying like injury/sloppy play wise. It can't be worse

Good summary. I posted in the game thread this has been the most weird regional I've ever experienced. I can't imagine it getting more strange but I guess that's why they say "truth is stranger than fiction".

I also can't believe that foster had such an awful day at thd plate. He is usually so good at finding a way to get on

Umpire was not inconsistent, he had a strike zone the size of a thimble.

Lefties could throw the ball into the dugout and get a paused ball (or possible strike).

You've summed it up perfectly. I don't know how things could be as bizarre from here on out.

I don't know why they sent the 3rd base runner home when the ball was hit to 3rd base. (think that was in the first inning? -- if not, it was early in the game.)
That was really stupid if Davis made that decision to send the runner home and almost as stupid if the runner decided to run on his own.

even so, once we quit giving SHS 6 outs rather then 3 we were able to shut them down. We gave them 4 a couple times but weathered those. Aaron Nola is a beast to play through what is possibly the worse home plate umpiring I've seen since the 1994 crew calling the LSU vs. USC game had to be escorted out by the LSU police, and we won that game 12-10.
