It would be huge for LSU if Nola can pitch a complete game Sat night. In fact, it's almost a must. With Glenn unavailable, Eades lacking confidence, & the poor bull pen performance today, Nola has to deliver in a big way Saturday. If SHS does the unthinkable, things could get interesting with a LSU - ULL elimination game Sun morning.

Rumbelow did not throw
Bourgeios looked great
Cotton did not throw

How much of a pen are you expecting?

Complete games are rare, and we were spoiled with that run of 4 straight. A solid 7 innings with an inning each from the bullpen will be fine. 8 or more would be a blessing.

I feel like "a must" might be a little strong. But it would be nice. Honestly I wouldnt freak out if we had to fight our way back through the losers bracket.

I'm hoping Nola can go 7, maybe 8. If its close, Cotton can close, if not, use Lamarche

This thread could have been started yesterday, but replacing Nola with Eades.

If we can get through 7 with Nola we'll be good.

We only have two pitchers who are done for the weekend after today, Eades and McCune. We'll be fine

I wouldn't rule out Eades or McCune if we are playing on Monday

No need to pull him after 7 if you don't need to. Let him go as far as he can
