Wow' I saw this yesterday. Most of the pines trees were partially dead, and the cypress and hardwood trees had lost their leaves. Amazing what weather can do.

Just passed through there. Did the hail cause the leaves to grow back in an unusual manner? The trees have leaves, but they all appear to be growing straight from the limbs.

The big hail storm was on March 30, 2013. Those trees have been dead for months.

That swath has been there for several months. I think they had a severe hailstorm that really killed the pines, and damaged the hardwoods.

I concur. My parents drove through minutes after the storm. Dad said the hail completely covered the grass in the median.
