Someone needs to bring that Aaron' Sanchez guy down a peg! No matter how good the dish is, it always needs something. Not only does he do that on Chopped, I have seen him on Iron Chef say that after every dish.

If Food Network really wanted to make some money, they should release uncensored versions on DVD. With the incessant cursing during the cooking, the inevitable arguments between the competitors, the hardcore bickering/knighting by the judges, and what has to be some great meltdowns by chefs being chopped, you're talking serious coin.

All the judges on that show are awful. I especially hate Alexandra G. and Geoffrey Z. Matter of fact, I quit watching that show because they pissed me off so much. You give people these horrible ingredients that no one would ever mix together and then you bust a chef's balls because they didn't incorporate aerosol cheese enough in the dish? frick dat!

That's why I really like the Champions round when the judges have to do it. Marc Murphy got run first both times. Yet, he's still a prick as a judge.

Sorry, when it comes to competition shows, Top Chef can't be beat. At least they let the contestants make dishes they would actually serve in their restaurants. And the judges aren't giant, horrible assholes.

I love watching them come up with something using those mismatched and awful ingredients. I'm not crazy about any of the judges. Can take 'em or leave 'em. I don't pay a lot of attention to what they say. I like watching the cooking and seeing the end result of each course.
I liked the one recently that breakfast, lunch, dinner. Nice variation.
ETA: and I would love to see a few unedited shows.
