Herb is an asset to the athletic program at LSU. It truly is a shame to see him go but I understand his want to excel and bring his attitude and leadership to a higher power.

I used to love listening to Bob Broadhead, after he had gone a bit wacky and briefly had a radio show, when he would call him "Little Herbie" Vincent.

As a fan, you won't see a difference. That's my point.

You know what pushes LSU through nationally? Wins.

I like Herb but his decision to alter the images of the group of students that painted crosses on their bodies is something I and many others were angry about and I wanted him to resign over such an egregious decision.

lol, wow just look at that post

and he was serious with it lol

i bet he also complains to the administration about students cursing at games

than the pseudo-outrage that it elicited amongst the holier-than-thous. Biggest non-issue ever. Way to stand-up for what

Then why was it altered? Who started the outrage in the first place? Your right it should have been a non-issue, but we have pussies that have to bitch about everything.

One of the best decisions he made while at LSU was to alter the photo with the students and the crosses on their chests. Hate t see him go.

I'm glad that you and your friends in this thread are honest about your full support of censorship. Good job following the playbook!

Met my now wife at an LSU game. Wanted to propose to her in an empty TS...emailed Herb and told him my story. He called me back within the week and got it all setup.

Probably so that it wouldn't portray LSU as an institution that endorses any particular religion or system of beliefs. Perfectly understandable.

I just like it when the uber-religious try to pretend like they're victims or persecuted in our society. They have no idea just how good they have it.

No retard, it was discussed at great lengths when it happened. This thread isn't about that shite and you ruin threads by trying to rehash some old arse topic that's been talked about to death.

I did not start it. You were the one cheerleading the other guy who took a cheap shot at LA tiger. His point was his opinion about Herb Vincent. You and your pals personalized it.

Censorship would be LSU telling them they couldn't put the crosses on their faces and enter the stadium in the first place. Get over it.

Again, not a civil rights issue or in any way a form of persecution. Seriously a non-issue that shouldn't put anyone's panties in a wad.

If it's a non issue, why alter the photo. 92000 people and they just had to use the one that "needed" to be altered. Are you ok they altered a picture of their paying customers?

Would you be ok if someone altered a picture of you and marketed for their business?
