I like the decision to alter the images, if, for no other reason, than the pseudo-outrage that it elicited amongst the holier-than-thous. Biggest non-issue ever. Way to stand-up for what you believe in, Herb.

My wife will love having Jamey back in Bham, but I hate to lose Herb at LSU.

Nah, it's hard to tolerate stupidity such as this:

I wonder who made this decision? I guess it had to happen sooner or later. That office is loaded with gumps.

Now that the "token LSU guy" is there they can all say, "Hold on dere, coonasses. Wee gots one of y'all up here. We ain't doin no cheeatin!" Book it.

It's the equivalent of the RNC putting Mike Steele on tv to prove that Republican's "like the blacks"....I know, I know...it's a stretch. But I don't buy for one second that the SEC isn't influenced like hell or flat out run by Alabama.

In any case, give em hell, Herb!

Damn, what a loss for LSU. A truly nice guy that represented LSU well. Hopefully he will be in a position to immediately fire the a-hole Gumptard that screwed us on the scheduling.

Will be interesting to see if they promote from within with Bonette. Who will replace him though? Big task working with this team.

Maybe we will get more favorable scheduling.

Great guy who, even though he's from Arkansas, became a full-fledged, purple and gold lovin' LSU Tiger. Known him since he was a freshman. Hope he will always be my friend. PLUS, he got my son and I field passes for a game. I'll miss that.

Huge loss? I doubt it. How will you miss him as an LSU fan?

He was good at dropping crosses from photos.

He was great with media relations, really helped push LSU football into the national spotlight on a yearly basis. Is one of the main guys responsible for scheduling big opening games like Oregon and TCU in dallas.

He's a great represenative of LSU.

Mark Womack is the #2 guy at the SEC and has been for a long time. I don't see Herb firing him.

Then you are uninformed. This is a huge loss for LSU. Congrats to Herb though.
