World War Z reviews are (shockingly) postive

A few initial reactions are coming in (no full reviews) and they're very shockingly positive reviews. In case you weren't aware, this has been the biggest living hell of a production in cinema in about a decade. Dozens of rewrites and writers (even after the film had supposedly stopped filming), filming got way behind schedule, had the films guns raided by the Hungarian government, tons of reshoots, and no one knowing really what the hell was going on. This made it a perfect candidate for worst picture of the year due to the clusterfrick.
But people are having shockingly positive feedback towards it. I was thinking that behind "After Earth" (I'm still pretty sure that one is going to blow), this would be the low of the summer. But it appears that they may have pulled it together in post-production and made something really good. I'll be the last judge of this, but just thought that I and many others may be eating crow over this.
EDIT: Take that back. Just looked at the releases this summer, and I think Smurfs 2 is easily (and always has been) the front runner for worse movie of the summer, with Planes likely not far behind.

It might just be because it's not as bad as it could have been.

What movie is that?

I actually liked the trailer and wanted to see it.

Trailers are often highly deceiving though. There are some people who can make a simply incredible trailer by showing the best parts. Terminator Salvation instantly comes to mind, but they showed pretty much literally every good part in the movie.

Now You See Me looks pretty decent.

Yeah... I mean, it looks weird, but I've seen worse from a summer film. After Earth I'm not giving a shot in hell though of it being decent.

Someone has a high opinion of himself.

I'd like to think we're all last judges to ourselves.
Not saying my opinion is the end all one, just for myself.

You should know that my opinion will be your final opinion.

If only it weren't PG-13.

Seriously, a zombie movie should never be PG-13

I find it odd how much readers of World War Z are rooting for this film to fail.

I'm genuinely surprised as well

I'm sure the Transformers and Green Lantern reviews were positive early on as well.

I found the book pretty dull and forgettable.

Jesse Eisneberg as the leader of a crew is laughable.
