I'm intrigued to see Lance Stephenson playing against the Heat in the playoffs. I hope LeBron does something similar to him as he did to Jason Terry a few weeks ago

Miami's success from here on out is almost entirely dependent on Wade's knee.

I love the heat, but the pacers are a bad matchup for them. The heat have nobody that can deal with hibbert down low, OKC was different for the heat bc perkins is a stiff, hibbert is very talented.

-I like George Hill over Chalmers
-I like Stephenson defending a banged up D Wade
-Nobody can cover Lebron, but Paul George is at the top of those to get abused least
-David West/Hibbert is a better front court than bosh/haslem

The heat have a superior bench, the pacers with DJ Augustin,Hansbrough, sam young, mahinmi are meh at best in comparison to norris cole, battier, birdman, ray allen.

I like the Heat in the series, but the pacers are tough, I really like +8 tonight and under 182.5 the pacers are tough, they slow it down and defend the paint.

I keep forgetting that Bosh only played 1 game in the Heat/Pacers series last year. Miami should have an easier time this series as long as they don't have any major injuries

This thread will be so much better without Jimithing.

Did you watch any of the Pacers-Knicks series? Yeah, the Pacers won and played good defense, but that was some HORRIBLE offensive basketball by them and the Knicks.

As for your matchups:

George Hill vs. Chalmers? Wash, maybe SLIGHT edge to Hill but they both turn the ball over like crazy.

Stephenson vs. Wade? Wade until Stephenson shows something like Game 6 consistently.

Jimmy Butler covered Lebron about as good as I've seen anyone this year in the Bulls-Heat series. George is slightly bigger than Butler and has a little more length, but I doubt Lebron shoots 43% from the field again for a series.

David West/Hibbert vs. Bosh/Haslem? I like Miami there because Bosh has been money on the mid-range jumper this postseason, and Haslem has hit it with some regularity as well. If they keep hitting those, the paint becomes WIDE open.

And don't underestimate Miami playing pissed off in this series. They don't like Indiana, and Indiana threw out some quotes this morning that will fire Miami up.

Did you not watch the series last year when Bosh missed all but 1 game?

And as others have mentioned, Grainger was playing.

The Heat have a pretty good ability to take away other teams post presencs.

Heat win in somewhat of a defensive struggle. I'll say
Heat 89
Pacers 81
If the Heat happen to lose, the knee-jerk reactions and resulting threads claiming they are doomed will once again be priceless
