How Do You Stay Positive When You Teams Suck So Bad for So Long?

The Mariners haven't made the playoffs since 2001. They wasted top draft picks on players like Clement that haven't amounted to anything. They finally got within a game of being 500% and proceed to loose the next 5 games in blow out fashion. What do you do when your team sucks like this?

At least the Raiders have won before and were in the Super Bowl not too long ago. The best the Mariners have ever done was the ALCS in 95. Each starting pitcher in the last 3 games has given up 5 plus runs.

True, but the Raiders have been the worst ran franchise for the last 10 years to make up for it.

You focus on other teams that are good. Lucky enough for me the Red Wings are good EVERY SINGLE YEAR

I'm a Kentucky football fan, no one has had it worse than me. 
Ultimately if you're a fan, you're a fan. You just root for your team no matter what.
In the case of UK, things are looking up, so I'm kind of happy right now.

You do realize this board is mostly Saints fans right? As a Saint fan I feel a sense of entitlement here because of pretty much anything that happened before 2006 and that no other team fan will ever be felt sorry for. lol.

It was 15 years ago and because of a corrupt system even then we weren't allowed into a major bowl game.

The guy who was the student manager was my friend from High School. I argued with an Indiana fan at the Mideast regional who called Rutgers a figment of the Northeast press. Phil Sellers etc. Good luck Eddie Jordan.
