Thoughts on the 2014 GMC Sierra

The more I look at pictures the more I have to fight the urge. Have yet to see one in person though. I like what they have done with the styling and even though I wasn't a big fan of the interior at first it has grown on me...
Surely there at least a few GM truck fans on this board?

Interior looks great, but I just don't care for the head lights or the square wheel wells. Overally nice truck though. Can't wait to see some on the road.

Not bad.
I have a GMC now and have always had GM vehicles. I think my next one will be a Ford though.

I agree. I have always thought that GM does a better job with the proportions and stance of its trucks vs. Ford or Dodge.
That is the extended cab model that does away with the suicide doors this year.

that's a nice looking truck, i'm not to wild about the instrument panel.. but, i see knobs! i love me some knobs! hate buttons

Overall, I think the exterior is good. I like that it's less curvy than it was. I'm not sold on the interior yet. After someone said it looks like the dash is giving birth to that center area with the nav and everything, that's what I see every time

I wasn't at first but I am warming up to it. I want to see one in person before making up my mind. I like the fact they added so many storage areas in the cab. The materials I think are much improved also (they are using real aluminum panels for the trim, etc.).
