Greek doesn't have to be low fat. Anyone having issues with it being "sour" needs to get some full-fate Fage. You can eat that stuff plain.

I agree that Liberte, especially the coconut is amazing. Can you believe that Walmart carries it in Canada?

To enjoy it the way it's meant to be eaten, drizzle honey on it and then add some chopped walnuts.

Perfection.

Yoplait has as much sugar as a snickers bar.

Funny how the flavored yogurt market has convinced the populace it is healthy when it is only marginally better than candy.

Agreed. I don't eat the stuff, and on the rare occasion that I do I eat the plain, non-flavored Greek yogurt. At least the Yoplait actually has sugar and not HFCS.

Agreed.

I go with the Cabot brand Greek yogurt. I mix the full fat brand with the low fat vanilla in my morning smoothie. I add froz blueberries, froz stawberries, and half a banana and and blend it up with an imersion blender.

Pay close attention to the nutritional info as some brands of the Greek yogurt have just as little protein and just as much sugar/carbs as yoplait.

I like the Cabot, but it is only available sporadically in my local stores.

We'll use Fage as a substitute for sour cream on tacos, etc.

You can make your own greek yogurt if you take regular yogurt and strain it through cheesecloth. My wife likes to put do this over a bowl in the fridge and let it sit for about 2 days and all the liquid whey will drain out and you'll have that thicker, greek yogurt consistency.
