From what I've been told, the problem is with people who drive a lot of hwy miles. The turbo develops a vapor lock from not being used, city drivers dont have this issue. Only what Ive been told, could be totaly BS.
FWIW I drive a 5.7 liter Tundra, 137,000+ plus naturally aspirated miles. Turbos go on sport cars/work engines not family vehicles!

Croaka, what size and brand level do you have?
Posted on 5/15/13 at 9:15 pm to PapaPogey
I got a daystar level
For some reason it's advertised as a 1" kit, but unlike others, the 1" is the size of the spacer as opposed to the total lift
So with the 1" spacer, the front is raised about the equivalent of other 2" kits
I measured after putting it on and it's damn near perfect
Best part about it is that it was 40 bucks on amazon

Finally got it where I want it. Not adding anything else.

Most, if not all of the kits are offset smaller. I think most 2" kits are actually 1.25" but give you the full 2" once installed.

Aww, don't say that. You can always find more to do to a truck and blow more cash

Right, but most advertise the lift they give, not the actual spacer thickness
I was skeptical about ordering a 1" leveling kit but all of the reviews said it was more of a 1" spacer so I went with it

Rough country. I wanted the hell bent steel or whatever it's called, but got the rough country as a gift.
It rides pretty damn smooth though.

This is my GM, Toyota, Nissan, other Ford killer. More hp, to, and highest towing capacity. Ain't too bad to play with either.

Just buy the 5.0.
I was always skeptical about that exoboost crap.
Twin turbos have a way of being problematic. ESP. from Ford.
ETA: The direct injection is problematic in a few different companies cars.
