Unfortunately, Atlanta's new stadium renderings look pretty awesome.

Unfortunately, I don't remember this being the more sports board or the Atlanta falcons forum.

I'm not sure what's going on in that video. At first it sort of looks like Lucas Oil Stadium (which I hate), and then opens up, and it looks a lot better. Then it starts to twist on itself, and there's literally an anal sphincter opening up with "rise up" on the rim. WTF?

I couldn't care less about the way their building is designed.

That's some incredibly badass futuristic shite there!! The Georgia dome is a first class dome and will become what?? A play pen. Money, money, mooney!

The second half looks like a boss from Metroid or something.

I think the first one looks like a carbon copy of Lucas Oil/The Seahawks stadium.
The second one intrigues. I'd definitely like to see what something like that looks like built. I'd also laugh everytime they show an overhead shot that looks like a bloody a-hole

Looks like shite IMO. Kinda cool inside but really stupid looking from the outside. I hope it gets destroyed shortly after they finish building it. frick da Falcons.

The inside looks incredible. The outside looks incredibly bad. The Georgia Dome is still a good stadium. Atlanta does not need a new half-filled one.

I'm Glad this was posted... Earlier I had lunch with the lead architect for the stadium... He said something about them not having any room at the top of the stadium for banners and such, but Mr. Blank said not to worry about it

Frank Lloyd Wright, Ludwig van der Rohe and Fredrick Olmstead could have collaborated on that motherfricker and guess what? It would still be in Atlanta.

Out of all the homerism in this thread, this board would jizz if the dome would have gotten replaced with something like that
