Has anyone here had Southern Tier's Iniquity (Black Ale)? Almost pulled trigger on it last night but decided to pass.

secondly, has anyone had Founders Dry Hopped Pale Ale? I passed on a sixer of this and instead grabbed two sixers of Centennial IPA since they were the last two left. Is DHPA worth it?

Finally, is anyone here a marine biologist?

Southern Tier available for purchase in NOLA yet? Assuming the usual guys would carry it (Stein's, Whole Foods, etc)?

I didn't notice it at WF today in Met, but I wasn't really looking. When I go there for lunch I normally look to see what's bulk stacked in front of the coolers.

Tallgrass Ethos. Has lots of hoppy aroma, pretty heavy boozey finish. Not picking up the citrus other people have mentioned (ETA a little citrus aroma, no flavor though), do agree that has a lot of hop flavor without the usual palate destruction. A good bit of dryness to it but not much else going on in terms of flavors. Good beer, would certainly drink it again, nothing extraordinary about it though IMO. Pretty standard tasting IPA to me. Pretty looking color.

Right south of there, block from W Esp. We're not rich, but they've done a lot to improve the place since buying it in ~1990. We call my dad Al Borland jokingly because he fancies himself a handyman and does most of the work himself. The pool and backyard renovation is relatively new, occurred while I was at LSU for the most part.

I enjoyed The Perfect Crime a lot. Not a surprise with Stillwater and Evil Twin collaborating with Stone.
