Just got around to watching Star Trek, he was a damn good villain. IMO, his role as "Chopper" Read was a virtuoso performance, and he was excellent in Munich as well. Doesn't look like he does a whole lot of films, but I think he's one of the better actors of this generation. I don't like him as much in rom-com type stuff. Anyway, as you were..

He is a damn good actor.

He was excellent as Chopper. I also enjoyed him in Munich, Troy, Hanna, and Black Hawk Down. His performance in Funny People was great as well.

Awesome as Chopper, as well as his role in Black Hawk Down.

Troy was a pile.

He's been really good in the few movies I've seen him in.

Chopper-best maniac performance of the decade

Black Hawk Down-Most dynamic character in the movie & did a great Southern accent. He even had the, "Confident, but not cocky" thing (mannerisms?) down

Troy-one of the few good performances in the movie

The Other Boleyn Girl-plays a great, "I'll do whatever I want until The Church gets involved" king

He's one of the best Aussies actors, but one you never hear much about.

You should check out Time Traveler's Wife. It is actually a decent sci fi movie. Not just romance crap. Plus you get a Rachel McAdams hiney shot.

It seems like he just quietly steals the show in every ensemble type performance he's in. He's def one of my favorite actors. shite, he was THE funniest person in Funny People.

He was the second worst thing about that terrible movie.

Didn't see it.

Didn't finish it. Spielberg has lost the touch.

I thought he gave the best performance in Blackhawk Down, and that shows how excellent direction can help.

I liked his take on The Hulk, and I actually enjoyed that film better than Norton's. The crazy Nick Nolte as the father part dragged down what was otherwise a good intro to the Hulk story. His performance was the best thing about it, IMO.

I also like him in Finding Nemo.

I assume you haven't seen Chopper. Guy is dynamic. Had forgotten about BHD, too.
