yeah, im pretty sure he and his wife are both doctors. He was doing standup somewhere in NOLA and the some hollywood people were like "we gotta get this guy." That's how the story goes, if it's true

He went to Duke and did his residency in New Orleans. He also did a year of research at Tulane.
