Found this on another board regarding a recent gun buyback in Phoenix, AZ.
Private citizens started talking with people turning in guns for the buyback before the guns were turned over to the police and were offering cash for guns. The gun below with accessories was purchased for $112.

Thats the one thing that scares me about setting up a table across from the Police buyback...I dont want a stolen gun. Would love some of the deals to be had but would have to weigh the risks

Reminds me of the story I read of the lady that was hard up for money and had this "old machine gun that her father brought back from the war and she just wanted it out of her house".
