Walther to keep making PPQ with paddle mag release!
Every firearms board I've seen lately has people complaining about the button mag release they started putting on PPQ's. It looks like they're actually listening.

For people who have never (or rarely) shot anything other than the "original" PPQ, the mag release apparently seemed wonderful.

For everybody else, apparently, it was a really weird (dumb) design. Walther didn't decide to change to the "normal" mag release without serious study. And now they say they'll keep manufacturing the "weird" version, in limited quantities, along with the "normal" version.

Now everybody should be happy, happy, happy.

Now that they will be in Ark, I'll have to get me one.

Mrs. Smackover will absolutely love it.

It shoots fantastic and has interchangeable grips.

Yeah, they prolly figured out they were missing out on a LOT of potential sales because of their "unique" mag release. A friend of mine has a Walther P22 that feels as good in my hand as any semi-auto around (except for the 1911, of course..... ) Having a "traditional" mag release should open up all kind of possible sales for Walther.
