Did Clerks 2 manage to define Gen-Xers 12 years later like it did in 1994? Not really, only Dante and Randall were still stuck with same uncertainty we recognized in 1994. Clerks 2 still carried the dialog we loved in the original Clerks like, do you ever go ATM and why Star Wars is the only trilogy.

Can Clerks 3 be any better than the first two? All I know for sure is since Mewes is still clean, I don't think Jay and Silent Bob have gotten back into the dope game.

Clerks was and is still great. Clerks 2 was funny in parts, but nowhere near the greatness of the original.

Clerks 3 needs Olaf.

Hasn't he said this is his last movie? Seems kind of strange but I think that's what he said.

I think so. He was working on something else as his final movie, but that changed, now it's probably this.

unless Disney calls him for one of the new Star Wars movies.

Clerks 2 was a completely missed opportunity.

They were still working in dead end jobs. He should have had them working in an office, middle management or complete underlings. I know that's close to Office Space, but it wouldn't have treaded the exact same waters as Clerks, it would have connected in the same why that Clerks did...and it wouldn't have just been freaking sad.

I'm probably the only person here that liked Clerks 2 better than Clerks.

Excited for part 3.

I think I'd rather watch Kevin Smith on stage talking with college kids than any of his movies nowadays.
