Why not? If it's just sitting around collecting dust? You ever heard of MD Anderson in Houston PRICK $3500 isn't going to go far for cancer treatment.

I mean i asked a question and everyone just jumped all over this like you know something...bunch of inconsiderate people in here! Thanks to the few that tried to be helpful.

Pay close attention to what you posted, especially the part in bold.

so your saying I should have said "I don't need to sell it but where should I sell it? "

That would have helped you to better answer my question?

You mad brah? Why you upset? You really read far into that went all the way back to the begining of the thread to find a way out...

Jeezus I'm done with this.

I am not the one claiming to be rich yet worried about parting out my most recent PC.

I agree that we shouldn't have jumped all over you about your part selection (I don't think I was super critical, although I did put in my two cents about what parts I would've chosen). It partially is jealousy, at least for me. I funnel my PC money into one build, and I maybe spend a couple grand on it per year. Others have had the same builds for a few years.

I try not to come across as a know-it-all, but I am very quick to prevent the spread of inaccurate information or bad advice. And I love this shite. It's one of only a few topics on which I have extensive knowledge and could talk for hours/days. (The other topics include grammar/writing, oil and acrylic painting, government proposals, and jazz/blues.)

Fact of the matter, I just asked where I could try and sell it. Not like I came on here swinging my big ol "computer" around for everyone to see...I was asked to list the parts. Then trashed for what I chose. This really shouldn't have even been a conversation past my original question but since everyone felt like chiming in...anyway this all is just a big waste of time. I won't be posting or reading in here anymore..(I know huge loss!)

Why don't you come join the PC E-Peen competition with your 3970x? We need someone to challenge coyote for the top spot(being serious)

I'd like to see a single Titan with a superior CPU vs 2x 7970s and sandybridge. He won't be much competition with Coyote's SLI titans, though.

I wish I had $3500 to drop on a PC, but its frustrating to see someone else do it and waste so much on performance.

I'd like to see some of the OPs other builds, though. We haven't had any high end processors in the lga2011 line come through here yet

I was talking about his 3970X build he has. I want to see how well that benches.

He would still need the graphics power to back it to hang with 2 titans

Seconded. I hadn't posted info on my most recent build until a couple of days ago because I know that I overspent/overspec'd on some items and would likely get called out for it.

At the end of the day it's your system to enjoy so do what makes you happy.
