I dont usually let wild creatures walk but when I do, they are treated like royalty.

Glad to have this guy around:

Oh, he mad. Was even shaking his tail like a rattler. Have never seen that with a King.



I highly dislike all snakes but this species is my least unfavorite.

Despite my wife's objections I have a king snake lurking around our house. He gives me the creeps, but he's earning his keep.

I haven't seen a speckled king snake in a while. I would never kill one.

I will always let a varmint eating snake have a spot in my yard. One was living under my A/C unit between it and the slab. He was thick and healthy!

My Dad said he's got about a 5 footer roaming his backyard. Helps protect the garden, though he didn't much enjoy removing the one that was gilled earlier this Spring in his strawberry net.
