The Advocate, for some reason, has taken an antagonistic approach to covering LSU sports, or at least football. I don't really understand it.

LSU football under Les Miles is looking more and more like Thug Central. Very poorly disciplined teams that Lou Saban wouldn't have tolerated for a minute. Jeremy Hill looks like another Cecil Collins.

This dumbass definitely posts here

If true,

But I have a strong suspicion that obvious troll is obvious.

Next time, please quote the relevant portions of the article.

Consider the link as your "works cited" page, or whatever you kids call it.

When I was living in Baton Rouge, all I heard was bitching about Miles' program.

Someone needs to send them the SEC arrests breakdown that was posted the other day. LSU is better behaved than most.

Fighting the good fight I see.

Nothing worse than waiting for a thread to load on my phone, only to have to click on a slow loading link just to see what the thread is about...

Serious question: Why so much negativity and anger from Louisiana people toward LSU and the football program at what seems like all times? I live in Alabama - Alabama and Auburn fans support their teams/universities. Same is true for the Mississippi schools. Is the fact that LSU is the only major school in Louisiana the cause of the animosity in that you have a lot of people who aren't really fans and consider it to be rebellious/anti-social behavior to blast on LSU, but they have nowhere else to go, so they are still considered LSU fans?

Someone like Maximus here comes to mind. He never says anything good about LSU, but is still considered an LSU fan somehow. Honestly, constant criticism means that you are not a fan, at least in any kind of normal sense.

Why? Because it contained information that helped explain a complicated court situation?

It pretty simple....now that The Advocate has expanded into New Orleans and put more emphasis on "Acadiana", they are serving more than one master now.
The Advocate has become the biggest "finger in the wind" news outlet around.
Back when the previous generation of Manships ran things it was as good as any paper in the country. Now they seem to be so afraid of offending somebody that good journalism has gone out the door.
I don't see things changing with the new ownership since Georges is a NO guy.
