What new wrinkles/philosophies would you like to see this season?

I'm really hoping we have a renewed focus on the run game, in whatever shape or form that may be. In 2009 and 2011 we were pretty damn dominant running the ball. People tend to forget this Bc of how well Drew compliments it.
One thing I would really like to see is Sproles be on the field in some capacity nearly every play. Whether he's actually running the ball or flexed out in the slot. I think this will be extremely beneficial especially given out lack of a proven deep WR corp.
I'd also really like to see Ingram and Pierre just about split the carries, similar to Williams and Stewart have been used in Carolina.

The success and how far we go this season rests completely on the run game IMO. If we get that going, it lets the defense rest and gives Drew an actually believable run game to PA off of.

Run game and not just the carries but situational playcalling and having one back every game with 20 carries

Offense:
Run the football. Continue utilizing the TE. Down the field passing. Get Ingram involved on passing downs.

Defense:
Tackle. Cover.

Whoa whoa whoa. One thing at a time. Do they know which numbers they're wearing? Do they know that it's Rob and not Rex?

I'd like to see our defense, particularly our safeties, have fewer tackles.

Fewer tackles means fewer offensive plays for our opponents, which means shorter drives, more three and outs, and more turnovers. Fewer tackles by out safeties means that the opposing runners aren't making it to the second and third level very often and they aren't making big plays in the passing game.

The wrinkle that doesn't leave Steve smith wide open 20 yards downfield with nobody within 10 yards of him

I agree a true balanced offense is what i would like to see, not just put everything on Drew.
More 2 Wr and 2 TE sets under center and not just in the shotgun most of the time.

I'd like to see the 2 RB sets again like we did when we had Deuce and Reggie. I think we could do the same thing with PT/ Ingram and Sproles. Give the D a viable running and passing threat out of the backfield

He said we've got to get back to running the ball, having 100-yard games non-stop. I can't wait. I'm excited and I know everybody else is excited."

No way I want Sproles on the field nearly every play. Too short, too small. If he's not coming out of the backfield I don't think he brings a ton to the table and it's harder to get him the ball than the bigger targets. I would like to see him and Pierre receiving out of backfield at same time. Would also like to see Watson at TE and Graham at wr.

i would like to see one back(PT, MI) getting 15+ carries, and having the other spell them while getting Sproles in one 3rd and passing situations.

Better playcalling in the run game.

Don't bring one in for a play, bring another guy in for three plays, bring a guy in for one, etc. Let them have drives to themselves, except Sproles is the third down guy on any drive. That said, don't be afraid to throw it to MI and PT and let them block/go PA.

I like what we were doing a the end of 2011. Where we would line Graham and Sproles close in the slot and the would bump the De inside to the tackles before going out on routes. I think it really helped out pass protection.

Sorry, but this is going to happen.

That's the system, but at least there are less guys in the main rotation now
